Sun Ovens
Complete Kit: $255

We love our Sun Oven. It saves us money, it's fun to use and it actually cooks things better than the oven in the house. You can bake, boil or steam foods, make cookies, brownies...even hard boiled eggs. And since you're using the sun, it doesn't cost a dime. If you can cook something in a regular oven at 350 degrees, you can cook it in the Sun Oven. We've made everything from sausage spaghetti with angel hair pasta to pot pies, stuffed salmon and thick vegetable soups.
It's safe around kids and pets, it stores quickly and easily, simple to clean, and WON'T BURN YOUR FOOD (a big plus, especially if you're busy and forget).
It will cook consistently all year long, and saves you serious dollars in the summertime if you have the air conditioning running. Using the Sun Oven takes a giant chunk out of your energy bills, because the house isn't trying to cool the hot air out caused by the kitchen oven.
We've put in pies straight from the freezer and cooked them to perfection. We've steamed asparagus and it looked just like what the fancy chefs do on TV. The only real failure we've had with the Sun Oven was when clouds moved in...and we had to finish off the dinner in the kitchen oven.
As long as there's sun, you can cook. They've made meals on Mount Everest with the sun oven. They're the most widely used oven on earth, and can be found in over 168 countries world-wide.
Well built, easy to use. If you can point to where the sun is and can read a watch, you can use a Sun Oven.

Spinning Rotary Clothes Dryers
$158.85 and $162.45

Nothing beats the smell and feel of clothes that are dried outdoors. It also does wonders to lower our electricity bill. We searched for months to find a quality rotary clothes dryer. We found the Breezecatcher people in Dublin Ireland. Their clothes dryers are exceptionally sturdy, the engineering and design is well thought out and it actually does what it says: it rotates slowly in the breeze. We have the 140, and with four adults (plus a newborn) we've never run out of space. The 140 model holds at least six loads from the washer at one time.
They're sturdy. Only the four arm top section rotates, while the main pole is stationary. There are high quality bushings, billet aluminum connectors...these are quality built!
They quickly and smoothly collapse down and can be tucked away. The latch and release system will outlive your grandkids. It comes with great instructions, starting with how to install the pole to how to replace a pvc covered cable. It's almost impossible to make the lines sag. The Breezecatcher is also covered by a 10-year warranty.

From everything we've seen with months of constant use, the BreezeCatcher clothes dryers are designed to be inherited before needing to be replaced!
